Photo
This is a photo montage set to music. It also includes a few film clips that we transferred and incorporated. We even grabbed a frame from the film and used that as a still. But most of the work went into animating the still pictures with all of the virtual zooms, pans, transitions, and effects into the most seamless and natural-feeling visual companion to the music as possible.
The music obviously sets the tone of each segment, and I encourage others to think in terms of THEMES in their photo collections, and find songs that embody those themes, and continue to group their photos and other content they may have around that theme and song. Most of these songs were edited for length by taking out a verse here or there, rather than by fading out, so that each piece tells a story with a distinct beginning, middle, and end.
